Hollywood director Michael Mann has blasted critics who claim his new film 'Miami Vice' is too violent.
Mann insists he only included enough violence to make the action sequences as realistic as possible.
"The violence in my films gives the action scenes legitimacy. An action scene is only completely legitimate if it is traumatic."

The "Miami Vice" speedboat overtook the "Pirates of the Caribbean" juggernaut to capture the top spot at the weekend box office.
The film, which pairs

The beloved television series of the 80’s Miami Vice is back with a film adaptation of the series. Michael Mann who is the director of the film was also one of the original show’s producers which is just great. Mann has had alot of experience with the franchise and who better to bring Sonny and Tubbs to the big screen than he.
