Disney has announced that Pixar will release Toy Story 3 in 2009. And the Oscar nominated screenwriter behind Little Miss Sunshine (Michael Arndt) is hard at work on the story.
Lee Unkrich, who has been co-director on Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, and Finding Nemo, will step up to helm the third film in the series. Lasseter is probably too busy in his new post as chief creative officer of Disney Animation to work on the latest effort.

There’s a bit of good news for Pirates of the Caribbean fans all over the world.
Disney head honchos have revealed that though the third ‘Pirates’ film will conclude the trilogy, it was “unlikely” that it will be the last sequel of the mega-hit movie.
Mark Zoradi, president of the Disney Motion Pictures Group said that the eagerly awaited third movie may not be the last Pirates film.

“We don’t get it.”
That’s what Disney executives told M. Night Shyamalan when he submitted his script for “Lady in the Water” last year. They did offer to give him $60 million to make the movie, based on his rather astounding box-office track record, but he was so offended by their vote of no confidence that he took the project to Warner Bros.
