The trailer for the newest Wes Anderson (Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) Movie has just been released. The movie features Jason Schwartzman, Adrien Brody and Owen Wilson who are all brothers taking a trip across India.

I haven't heard much about 28 Weeks Later (the sequel to 28 Days Later), so I was a little excited to see that the trailer is on apple's website: http://www.apple.com/tr...weekslater
It looks like the film stars Robert Carlyle (that guy from Trainspotting and the Full Monty). Should be interesting to see him in a horror film (Raveneous doesn't count).

They seriously made this movie about 10 years too late.

"It’s a 3-D/CG Smurfs", said producer Jordan Kerner. "You just can’t make those guys live – it’d be a little weird, but a 3D Shrek world of them - that’s fantastic."
Kerner says he has been researching the popular 80s cartoon extensively. "Having seen all 234 episodes of the show, numerous times, Herb Ratner and I have been working really hard at looking where all the holes were in the episodes - ya’know, like all of a sudden another woman appears, it’s not just smurfette – and what we’ve done is we’ve plugged all those...

Borat stunned observers by opening at No. 1 at the North American box office on Sunday with ticket sales of $26.4 million.
The North American release took place in just 837 theaters after polling indicated that huge enthusiasm among critics and the MySpace crowd had not spread to mainstream moviegoers. In the end, it appeared that naked wrestling, toilet jokes and anti-Semitic satire hold universal appeal.

Despite recent drama surrounding the planned big-screen adaptation of Halo, Microsoft is still determined to make the movie a reality. After Fox and Universal, the two studios that had been co-financing the flick, dropped out earlier this week, Microsoft has begun shopping it around.
According to today's Variety, Microsoft is focusing their partnering efforts on Warner Bros. and Paramount, partially due to complex relational issues with the other major studios. Sony is out because of the PlayStation. Disney is iffy due to Apple's Steve Jobs...

Have you ever wondered how Borat hoaxed America?
Most of Borat's victims were ensnared in a similar way. They would be contacted by a woman calling herself Chelsea Barnard from a fictional film company, One America Productions.
They would be told about the foreign correspondent making a film about life in the US, with the pitch tailored to each person's specialist subject.
Then on the day of the interview, they would be presented with a release form at the last minute, be paid in cash and, finally, Borat would amble in, beginning with...

Enjoy the first 4 minutes of Borat's New Movie. Nice!
Kazakhstani TV talking head Borat (Cohen) is dispatched to the United States to report on the greatest country in the world. With a documentary crew in tow, Borat becomes more interested in locating and marrying Pamela Anderson.

Movie audiences prefer sequels with names to those with numbered titles, according to a paper in the October Journal of Consumer Research. In one study, subjects were shown a made-up movie title —“Daredevil 2” or “Daredevil: Taking It to the Streets” — and asked to read a plot summary. Those who saw the second title spent more time reading the summary, remembered more, and rated the hypothetical movie more highly.
2.6 Average rating given to proposed movie "Daredevil 2"
3.12 Average rating given to "Daredevil: Taking It to the...
